JOB TITLE: MA/LVN
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Knowledge and experience in adult education principles and/or patient care practice.
- Must perform all assigned duties such as: Prepares data entry into EMR, Establishes helpful and friendly relationship with patients, staff members, providers, manager/director, and other job duties as assigned by supervising provider, manager/director
REPORT RELATIONSHIP:
- Reports to the Director, WHC
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1) High School or GED preferred
- 2) License as LVN in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing
- 3) Clinical experience is preferred
- 4) CPR
- 5) OB/Gyn experience preferred
- 5) Cardiology experience preferred
Must have current licensure/certifications upon hire.
New Hires will have 60 days to acquire the required Basic Life Support (CPR, ACLS, PALS, BLS, and/or any other life support certifications required for the job).
OSHA TASK CATEGORY TWO:
- There is an occasional risk of exposure to mucous membranes or skin contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues, or a potential for spills or splashed during the performance of the job.
- Universal precautions must be observed and protective devices worn by the employee when performing a task that is likely to cause exposure.
Employment standards include current requirements as determined by Federal, State, and Wise Health System policy.
Physical requirements:
- Able to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis to 42”, able to lift 10-20 pounds daily, able to lift 50-80 occasionally
