  • The HR Administrative Assistant II assists with the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office.
  • The HR Administrative Assistant II assists in the establishment or communications of the human resources policies, procedures and programs.
  • The HR Administrative Assistant II carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: departmental development, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, training and development, compensation, benefits, organizational development, employee safety, welfare, wellness and health, and employee services.
The HR Administrative Assistant II is responsible for these duties to include, but not limited to:
  • Responsible for the processing of applicants for hires
  • Verification of:  OIG, Licensure, Certification, DADS, DPS, Education, References, etc.
  • Enters new hire information into MS4 and Timetrak
  • Resolves questions from walk-ins,
  • Provides administrative assistance to the HR department in all areas, including filing.
  • Responsible for the following reports:  New Hire Orientation, 90 Day Evaluation and other reports as requested or assigned.
  • Keeps Badge System Current:  New Hires, Terms, Transfers, Name Changes, Students, Contractors, Providers, and Providers List etc.
  • Keeps I-9, W-4 and Badge Sheets Current.
  • Track supplies and keeps them in stock, to include, but not limited to: Orientation Packets and CD’s; Pens, Badge Holders, Badge Cards, Ink, Booklets, Office Forms and Supplies.
  • Employee Recognition information to CEO: Picture, Job Title, Dept., and Mailing Address
  • Director of Human Resources
  • 1) Some college preferred,
  • 2) experience in human resources and experience in a healthcare setting preferred.   
  • 3) Strong computer experience including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
  • There is no anticipated risk of exposure to mucous membranes or skin contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues, or a potential for spills or splashed during the performance of the job. 
  • Universal precautions must be observed and protective devices worn by the employee when performing a task that is likely to cause exposure.

Employment standards include current requirements as determined by Federal, State, and Wise Health System policy.
