Radiology- PRN X-Ray CT MRI Tech, Argyle

The MRI technologist must be able to:
  • Pperform all varieties of MRI examinations including, MR angiography under the direct orders of a physician.  
  • MRI technologist must be able to help with transporting/transferring patients
  • Able to administer IV contrast. 
  • Provide safe practice following ACR guidelines.  
  • Knowledge and proper use of PACS, hospital order entry and other common clerical task.
  • The technologist will be responsible for being on call as scheduled.
The CT technologist must be able to:
  •  Accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.
  • The tech must be able to transport and transfer patients, know the proper use of PACS and perform common clerical tasks.
  • The technologist will be responsible for being on call as scheduled.
The X-ray Technologist must be able to:
  • Perform radiographic examinations
  • Transporting/transferring patients
  • Proper use of PACS and CR equipment,
  • Common clerical task.

  • Technologist reports directly to Radiology Manager with oversite by the Director of Imaging at Argyle
Employee must have current licensure/certifications upon hire. 
New Hires will have 60 days to acquire the required Basic Life Support (CPR, BLS, and/or any other life support certifications required for the job).
  • There is an occasional risk of exposure to mucous membranes or skin contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues, or a potential for spills or splashed during the performance of the job. 
  • Universal precautions must be observed and protective devices worn by the employee when performing a task that is likely to cause exposure.
Employment standards include current requirements as determined by Federal, State, and Wise Health System policy.

Physical requirements:
  • Able to lift 30+ pounds on a regular basis to 42”, able to transfer/transport and help lift patients onto or off stretcher or MRI table on a daily basis.
