Therapy Services - Physical Therapist, Argyle

  • The Physical Therapist provides quality physical therapy services to those appropriate patients on the PSU Unit.
  • The staff member coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team including patient and family education to provide exceptional patient care.
  • This person also performs other diverse duties as requested or required.  
  • Demonstrates knowledge base and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the condition of patient’s served.
  • The Physical Therapist must demonstrate familiarity with the principles of growth and development throughout the life cycle.
  • The Physical Therapist must be able to assimilate basic knowledge and patient related data to perform a comprehensive and age appropriate evaluation that is completed and documented within the licensure requirements.
  • Assumes other duties as assigned.

  • The Physical Therapist reports directly to the onsite PSU/ER Manager or PSUER/ Director with oversite from the Argyle CCO and collaboration with the Therapy Manager or to the Program Director at Decatur.  
  • 1.Maintain a current license as a Physical Therapist by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
  • 2. Current CPR certification
Must have current licensure/certifications upon hire. 

New Hires will have 60 days to acquire the required Basic Life Support (CPR or any other life support certifications required for the job).
  • There is an inherent potential for mucous membrane or skin contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues, or a potential for spills or splashes during the performance of the job.
  • Universal precautions must be observed and protective devices worn by the employee when performing those tasks likely to cause exposure.

Employment standards include current requirements as determined by Federal, State, and Wise Health System policy.
