Radiology - PRN Staff RT, Fort Worth

  • Performs radiographic examinations, assisting in fluoroscopic exams and procedures, transporting/transferring patients, efficient in surgical c-arm cases, Proper use of PACS and CR equipment, common clerical task
  • Technologist reports directly to Radiology Supervisor  
  • 1)  Texas Department of Health
  • 2)  ARRT  
  • 3)  CPR  
  • 4)  The technologist can work under a temporary license for one year and be working towards taking the ARRT registry.
Must have current licensure/certifications upon hire.  

New Hires will have 60 days to acquire the required Basic Life Support (CPR, ACLS, PALS, BLS, and/or any other life support certifications required for the job).

  • There is an occasional risk of exposure to mucous membranes or skin contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues, or a potential for spills or splashed during the performance of the job. 
  • Universal precautions must be observed and protective devices worn by the employee when performing a task that is likely to cause exposure.
Employment standards include current requirements as determined by Federal, State, and Wise Health System policy.
Physical requirements:
  • Able to lift 30+ pounds on a regular basis to 42”
  • Able to transfer/transport and help lift patients onto or off stretcher or x-ray tables on a daily basis.
