Human Resource - Talent Acquisition Specialist (Recruiter), Decatur

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • This position assists the Human Resources Director and objectives of the Human Resource Department; including but not limited to: recruiting activities including oversight of requisitions, posting, sourcing of candidates, and managing the applicant tracking system. 
  • In addition, this role will be accountable for supporting recruiting campaigns that align with the organization’s talent acquisition strategy and supports the growth of the business and WHS overall vision and mission.
  • Understands recruiting, hiring, employment, policies and procedures, orientation, compensation including benefits, organization effectiveness, customer service, employee and public relations, EEO, ADA, and all other related federal and state requirements.
 
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
  • Reports to Director Human Resources
 
DESIRABLE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Recruitment experience, knowledge in employment law, benefit and compensation administration, workers compensation, development and implementation of policies and procedures, organization effectiveness, employee relations, and excellent problem solving skills. 
  • Additional skills include:  EEO, ADA and all other related federal and state requirements.
 
EXPERIENCE:
  • 1) A minimum of 1 year of recruiting experience, preferably recruiting physicians and/or in professional healthcare field, or have one plus year of professional healthcare experience.
  • Demonstrated professional and ethical behavior.
  • Excellent communication skills and able to use multiple medias to recruit and find candidates.
  • Strong relationship building skills with internal interviewing managers, employees and applicants. 
  • 2) A high school diploma preferred.
  • 3) A bachelor's degree preferred. 
 
OSHA TASK CATEGORY THREE:
  • There is no anticipated risk of exposure to mucous membranes or skin contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues, or a potential for spills or splashed during the performance of the job. 
  • Universal precautions must be observed and protective devices worn by the employee when performing a task that is likely to cause exposure.
 
EMPLOYEE STATUS: 
  • Non-Exempt
