Wise Health Clinic: Operations Manager, FT, M-F, 8a-5p

  • Works with the WHC Executive Director to manage and improve the day-to-day operational systems, processes and policies in support of WHC organization.
  • Demonstrates the ability to problem solve, identifies appropriate resources, and handles conflict resolution with a professional and supportive attitude.
  • Participates actively in committees as assigned.
  • Work in alignment with WHC managers to maintain compliance for all WHC locations, monitors Point-of Service collection ratio for each WHC clinic location, monitors key performance indicators and educates staff on best practices.
  • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HR, IT and Finance), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
  • The Clinic Operations Manager will work in collaboration with other managers and team leads, spending a significant amount of time in front line areas to observe, mentor and coach front line teams in a manner that creates a culture of accountability and fosters continual improvement throughout all clinics.
  • Responsible for staffing schedules and communication of provider schedules.
  • The Clinic Operations Managers will work in collaboration with all team members to promote and communicate the vision, mission, values and strategic plan of the overall organization. The Clinical Operations Manager will be expected to provide kind direction to all subordinates.
REPORT RELATIONSHIP: Reports to the WHC Executive Director
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of physician practice management preferred
  • Experience and/or knowledge with medical billing and collecting preferred
  • Experience with Electronic Health Record required 
OSHA TASK CATEGORY TWO: There is an occasional risk of exposure to mucous membranes or skin contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues, or a potential for spills or splashed during the performance of the job.  Universal precautions must be observed and protective devices worn by the employee when performing a task that is likely to cause exposure.
Employment standards include current requirements as determined by Federal, State, and Wise Health System policy.
Physical requirements:  Able to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis to 42”, able to lift 10-20 pounds daily, able to lift 50-80 occasionally
