Nutritional Services - Kitchen Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY:  Supervises and coordinates activities of kitchen staff preparing and cooking meals for the hospital patients, staff, and visitors.  Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. 
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:  Director, Nutrition Services
REQUIREMENTS:  1)  One year’s experience in hospital foodservice preferred.  2)   Supervisory experience preferred.   3)  High school graduate or equivalent preferred.  4)  Basic computer proficiency preferred.
There is no anticipated risk of exposure to mucous membranes or skin contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues, or a potential for spills or splashed during the performance of the job.  Universal precautions must be observed and protective devices worn by the employee when performing a task that is likely to cause exposure.
Employment standards include current requirements as determined by Federal, State, and Wise Regional policy
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  Must be able to work in a kitchen environment or an office environment.  Ability to tolerate periods of standing, walking, or sitting.
